For this campaign, IKEA wanted to promote a number of decorative products whilst still telling the story of Smilla, the charming main character in our campaign series. I wrote a spot where our leading Swedish lady is at a German wedding and

is utterly unprepared for her accidental bridesmaid speech.

Fortunately, IKEA's eye-catching products end up being her saving grace.

 

I was also responsible for the photoshoot which, along with the TVC, was shot in the beautiful abandoned Beelitz Sanatorium.
